Remedy collaborated with Nutrien to create an emotional brand story exploring the meaning of home through a father and son's farming legacy.
Through dawn tractor rides, afternoon field lessons, and sunset conversations, we documented how farming isn’t just about the land – it’s about the sense of belonging passed from father to son. The narrative reveals how home is found in the daily rhythms of farm life, the lessons shared between generations, and the deep connection to the land they nurture together.
Working closely with Nutrien, ThinkShift crafted a story that resonates with agricultural families while authentically representing their brand’s role in preserving these precious bonds between land, legacy, and the meaning of home.
DETAILS
For this Nutrien project, we shot for two days in Arkansas, running both photo and video at the same time. It was a father-son story - really sweet actually - just following them through their day on the farm. We packed up all our gear and hit the road. Got some killer car mount shots and awesome drone footage of them driving through the countryside. The whole concept was seeing farm life through this kid's eyes as he tags along with his dad - everything from family meals to working out in the fields.
We kept the crew small and nimble, shooting on the FX6. That autofocus was clutch since we were constantly moving, trying to capture that energetic kid perspective without needing a focus puller. Just really natural, run-and-gun style shooting. We let the natural light do its thing too - kept everything feeling real and authentic. Just had to make sure we were strategic with when we were at the different locations and how/where we staged moments.
The edit came together great - lots of movement and energy that really puts you in the kid's shoes as he experiences life on the farm with his dad.
